22_largeJohn Cirilo brings over 25 years of industry experience to NXT GEN.

John’s personal journey in fitness started as an undersized, under-coached athlete who found his calling in fitness while serving in the United States Marine Corps. As a highly decorated Marine, John designed and implemented physical training programs for his fellow Marines and after serving honorably in the Gulf War, John continued his passion by serving as the Director of Training at Spine and Sports Care, where he studied and worked with spine, joint and sports physicians and therapists. Realizing that his passion was more in health & fitness rather than clinical, John continued his evolution by working in some of New York’s most exclusive clubs before starting his own personal training service in the mid 90’s.
After starting a family, John realized a lack of proper youth training and coaching in his community and thus began his search for a solution. That search led to Bill Parisi and the Parisi Speed School.
While at Parisi’s, John quickly became one of the company’s most successful performance coaches, servicing over 1,000 athletes to include High School, Collegiate and Professional athletes. Soon thereafter, John assumed the duties as Director of Franchise Development for Parisi Franchise Systems, where he is credited with helping Bill Parisi launch the Parisi Franchise Network and successfully sold over 70 of its current franchise locations worldwide as well as certifying over 500 Parisi performance coaches during his 13-year tenure.
John’s service included the NFL Combine Program where he worked alongside Martin Rooney in successfully launching the careers of over 130 NFL athletes. John was also the personal speed and strength coach to New York Yankee All-Star Dellin Betances.
John is NASM-CPT, CES, FMS, USAW, and CrossFit L-1 certified.

This is to have succeeded.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
